One of the most talented people I’ve ever known, yet so modest with it. Steve, like myself, shared a deep passion for history and we’d become giddy with excitement when talking about his recent finds whilst digging out in the country somewhere with Aunty Margaret. Passionate about so many things in life - art, music, photography… Steve was a real creative and I still remember after 35+ years his portrait of an African Elephant up on Aunty Margaret’s wall. He’s certainly left an impression on me. We are sad at losing you Steve, but absolutely privileged to have known you at all. You won’t be forgotten mate.
