“There’s enough rudeness in this world” is what I remember him saying to me when I encouraged him to be rightfully rude back to someone who was rude to him. Steve made it his duty to always greet you and made sure you were okaay. Heck, he even made time to feed what he had to a bird that visited him regularly on his work break. He was incredibly supportive in seeing his nephew, Joe perform and would ask everyone he knew to come see him. Steve was a great listener and was brilliant at making jokes that left you feeling uplifted. There aren’t many people in the world that, arguably, have a heart as big as his.
